A 27-year-old woman from Birkirkara was grievously injured on Sunday when the quadbike she was passenger on crashed into a barrier.
The police said the accident happened in Triq Louis Wettinger, Mellieħa, at 10.15am.
A 29-year-old man from Birżebbuġa was riding the bike, a Kymco MXU, when he lost control and crashed. He was slightly injured.
The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
