Minister directs leaders to coordinate with functionaries

Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao has instructed the elected representatives to take all measures for the mobilization of around 25,000 farmers from the district to the launching of Rythu Bandhu scheme by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao in Indiranagar of Huzurabad mandal on May 10.

At a meeting with the local bodies’ representatives in Sircilla on Sunday, the Minister said that they would be deploying around 500 TSRTC buses for the mobilization of the farmers to the public meeting in Huzurabad. He asked the local bodies’ leaders to ensure that the buses start by 8 a.m. and reach the venue by 10 a.m. TSCAB Chairman K. Ravinder Rao and Vemulawada legislator Ch. Ramesh Babu would coordinate in the mobilization of the farmers for the meeting from Siriclla and Vemulawada Assembly segments respectively.

He said that the distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques would be conducted in Rajanna-Sircilla district from May 11 to 17 and directed the officials to ensure that the cheques were distributed only from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in view of the repressive heat.

The cheques to the land owners, who had migrated to Gulf countries in search of employment, would be given on May 17, he said and asked the leaders to alert the same to the family members of Gulf immigrants. Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar, Vemulawada legislator Ch. Ramesh Babu, TSCAB Chairman K. Ravinder Rao, ZP chairperson Tula Uma, Collector D. Krishna Bhaskar, SP Rahul Hegde and others were present.
