British Guardian defames Trump and Israel intel in unsourced report

The Guardian in an unsourced report claims that US President Donald Trump’s aides hired an “Israeli private intelligence agency” to “get dirt” on Barack Obama’s aides Ben Rhodes and Colin Kahl as “part of an elaborate attempt to discredit” the 2015 nuclear deal.  The report admits that it is not clear how much work was actually undertaken. All the same, former British foreign secretary Straw, known for his anti-Israel outlook, called the unsupported allegations “extraordinary and appalling.” The Guardian, while suggesting that Trump and Binyamin Netanyahu sought to smear the Obama administration to discredit the Iranian nuclear deal, itself uses smear tactics to discredit the two leaders.
