Surya Pratap Shahi today said the state government is working towards doubling the income of the farmers by 2022.
Shahi, who was in Bulandshahr today to lay the foundation stone of Kisaan Prashikshan Kendra (farmers training centre), in a statement said, "the endeavour of the UP government is to double the income of the farmers by 2022. The Kisaan Prashikshan Kendra will help the farmers to train themselves in various nuances of farming. The new Kisaan Prashikshan Kendra has been built at a cost of Rs 18.5 crore, and this is going to benefit farmers in a major way".
The agriculture minister also said that 500-600 farmers will be imparted training in a month at the centre.
