GRP arrests Odisha man with 24 kg marijuana

Vadodara: A native of Odisha was arrested after the government railway police (GRP) found 24 kg of marijuana in his possession.
The accused Amitkumar Bisoi, 23, was travelling in Puri-Ahmedabad Express train. While patrolling in the train after it passed Karjan station on Sunday, GRP men found Bisoi’s behaviour suspicious. He was travelling in AC three-tier coach of the train.

When cops checked Bisoi’s luggage, they found marijuana worth Rs 1.4 lakh packed in three bags. Bisoi was arrested and a case was registered against him at GRP police station in Vàdodara. Cops are interrogating the accused about the source of the marijuana.
