Victorian police plead for caution after deadly weekend on roads

Victorian Police are urging motorists to take care, after a deadly weekend on the state's roads.

In the worst incident, four women aged in their 60's and 70's died in a two car collision at Navarre in western Victoria.

Police say the women were returning from a line dancing function when their car was struck. Over the weekend, eight people have been killed in separate car crashes across the state - seven on country roads.
