In the motorbike race at Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto in Andalucia, Spain, German Philipp Oetti was leading with four laps to go when disaster struck among the chasing riders in the lead pack.

Spaniard Aron Canet was the culprit in the wipeout, taking a corner recklessly and knocking over riders Tony Arbolino, Jorge Martin and Enea Bastianini.
