Clifford J. Coburn, 69, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls. Born July 3, 1948, in New Brighton, a son of the late Charles Edward and Norma (Reda) Coburn. He was retired from BASF, Evans City and had worked at the former Crucible Steel, Midland. He was a member of the American Legion Post #19, F.O.E. #1342 and the United Croatian Club, all of New Brighton. Surviving are his children, Tammi (Mike) Harris, New Brighton; Barbara Loera, Calif.; Clifford Coburn Jr., Calif.; and Betty Coburn, Calif.; stepchildren, Lori Bailes and Jack Bailes, both of New Brighton; and Brian (Dorothy) Teets, Kan.; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Carlos, Christina, Victoria, Brandy, Jessica, Manuel, Joanna, Michael, Elizabeth, Scott, Theresa, Jasmin, Jonathan, Jason, Evan, Braedyn, Kathleen and David; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Coburn, New Brighton; his special lady friend, Karen Hays, New Brighton; special friends, Jack and Pat Hinzman, Raymond and Viv Copper, Don and Lynn Shuler, Peggy McCullough, and Barbara Hernandez; and many nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Coburn, May 18, 1998; three brothers, Donald, William and Richard Coburn; three sisters, Dorothy Coburn, Betty Nicholson and Norma Jean Sargent; and stepson, David Teets Jr. Friends will be received Monday from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, with Chaplain Steve Read of Grane Hospice officiating. Inurnment will take place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton. The family wish to extend special thanks to staff of Providence and Grane Hospice, especially Kelli Mason.
