Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who is all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja, was spotted in Bandra, Mumbai, allegedly house hunting with Ahuja on Friday. According to a Pinkvilla report, Anand returned from New York on Friday, met Sonam at the Mumbai airport and the couple went straight ahead for a house hunting trip to Bandra the same day. The couple will tie the knot on May 8.

After almost a month of speculation and gossip, Sonam and Anand confirmed their wedding date last week and released a joint statement saying, “The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the May 8 in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”

Sonam will be heading to Cannes after her wedding.

The wedding will be preceded by a mehendi function on May 7 and a reception will be held on May 8 evening in Mumbai. The functions will be held at Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra Bandstand and The Leela hotel.

Sonam and Anand reportedly met in 2014 through fashion designer Pernia Qureshi, who also happens to be Sonam’s stylist. Apparently, he proposed to Sonam within a month of their first meeting. During their dating period, while none of the two publicly spoke about being in a relationship, their Instagram posts and admiration for each other pretty much convinced everyone that they are in love.
