Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Union Minister Alphons Kannanthanam has said that revolutionary changes have taken place in the last four years in the country after the incumbent government came to power.

The minister said this after inaugurating central government sponsored development programmes under 'gram swaraj abhiyan' at Venganoor panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram today.

He also said the Centre's achievements have reached the lowest level in society and that the union government was spending more funds for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden.
