1. Saturday – Blues on the Hill

Malford Milligan and Tyrone Vaughan team up for a double-shot of blues in the Milligan Vaughan Project, coming to Harlingen’s McKelvey Park Saturday, for the free family-friendly Blues on the Hill concert, 6 to 10 p.m.

2. Saturday – Bike Rodeo

Are you up to date on state bicycle laws? The Harlingen-San Benito Metropolitan Planning Organization is teaming up with the San Benito Police Department to provide information on bike safety and host a first-ever family bike ride. Information on Texas bike laws and how to safely travel on a bicycle in town will end with a three-mile family bike ride escorted by police. Come out from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at W.H. Heavin Memorial Park, 410 N Stookey Road.

3. Wednesday – STOMP

Matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and more fill the stage with energizing beats at STOMP, the inventive and invigorating stage show that’s dance, music and theatrical performance blended together in one electrifying rhythm. At the McAllen Performing Arts Center, 7:30 p.m., $37 to $100.

4. Thursday – Fun with Nature Sounds

Preschool children and their parents will have buckets of fun with hands-on, nature-inspired lessons filled with song, discovery, socializing, movement, and explorations! Thursday, 10 to 11 a.m. at Quinta Mazatlan, 600 Sunset Drive in McAllen, $3 program fee.

5. Saturday – Farmer’s Market

Harlingen’s Farmer’s Market is set for 3 to 4:30 p.m. at 2nd and Tyler. There will be 30-plus vendors, fun, food and music among other activities. Time is running out for this season. The market runs through mid-June. Don’t miss out on this family and dog-friendly fun.
