SURAT: A young man and woman were found hanging in a second floor apartment of SUDA housing colony in
Sachin area on Sunday evening. The bodies started decomposing and police suspect that the deceased died around 3 days ago. Registering a case of accidental death police started the investigation. Police suspect that the deceased committed suicide.
Bodies of Narmada Vasava, 20, and
Nilesh Patel, 21, were recovered from the apartment in which they were living together. They hanged self to ceiling and the neighbours alerted cops after foul smell started to come out of the apartment.
The neighbours informed police that they did not see any movement of the two individuals and the house was not locked from outside. So the neighbours were sure that they were inside but since no one came out in past few days and due to the foul smell they alerted cops. Police reached the spot and started investigation. The bodies will be sent for post mortem.
Police are yet to confirm if they were married. Police are also contacting their family members to find out if they were aware that the two were living together. They were working in the same industrial unit in Sachin and police are checking that how did they came in contact of each other.
