Visitors Burnley will likely be without defender Ben Mee who could be absent for the remainder of the season with a shin injury.

Striker Chris Wood could also miss Burnley's penultimate Premier League match after picking up a foot injury in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Brighton.

What are they saying?

Sean Dyche on Arsene Wenger

He’s a legend of the game. The work that will be remembered is not only about styles of play, but the origins about what Arsenal players doing when he arrived and how he changed it.

Things he changed like hydration, it sounds simple but he has taken it to a new level, the health and wellbeing, making sure the food they ate was right. Then there are the ways they have reformed all different groups.

People forget the origins of that team were a hard tough back four, he brought in two players who were centre halves in France and played them in midfield.

They had some fantastic individuals in (Dennis) Bergkamp and (Ian) Wright but also some real hard players, and then to morph it into this open flowing football, that’s not easy, it takes time.

For youngish managers like me there aren’t enough good words can be said about what he has done for Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger on leaving Arsenal

I would like to walk out of Arsenal and think until the last day I focused only on Arsenal. When my job at Arsenal finishes, I will see where I go from there but I want to finish this love story well.

I don’t know what I will do next season. At the moment, I would like to finish my job well.

I believe a man has to give his best as long as he is somewhere, with all his commitment and energy. I would like one day to know I worked with all my energy until the last day.

I would like to look back and think I finished this love affair well.

How will Arsenal mark Wenger's final home game?

From the Arsenal website:

There will be a tribute book in the Armoury where fans can write a message to Arsène, which will be given to him once the season draws to an end. We will also have a free green screen experience in store, allowing fans to be stood next to Arsène and have their picture taken with him.

All supporters inside the stadium will receive a commemorative t-shirt, which we are asking everyone to wear during the match, in order to create a special atmosphere for Arsène’s last home match as our manager.

At half-time, we will also be showing a memorial graphic on the stadium big screens featuring the names of fans who have sadly passed away during this season.

This will give us all the opportunity to show our respects to our fans who are no longer with us.   We ask all supporters to stay in the stadium after the final whistle, when we will be coming together to thank Arsène for being the most successful manager in our history.

We will also be saying a big thank you to first-team captain Per Mertesacker, Women’s captain Alex Scott and legendary kit man and founder of the Women’s team, Vic Akers, before Arsène and the first-team squad embark on a lap of appreciation after the match.

Are tickets still available?

Arsenal have struggled fill the Emirates Stadium in recent weeks but fans are set to be out in force on Sunday to pay tribute to their departing manager.

Tickets for the momentous match are reportedly being sold for as much as £1,800.

The club's official website crashed in the hours after Arsene Wenger confirmed he would be leaving the club at the end of the season as fans rushed to purchase tickets for the Frenchman's final home game of his 22-year stay at Arsenal.

What are the odds?

  • Arsenal 8/15
  • Burnley 5/1
  • Draw 3/1

What is our prediction?

Arsenal players will be desperate to mark Arsene Wenger's final home game in charge with a victory but a lot will depend on the team the Frenchman picks for Sunday's clash.

If Arsenal have a Europa League final to come, it's likely a number of high-profile players, like Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette, could be rested.

A weakened team could see Sean Dyche's resolute side upset the party at the Emirates.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Burnley
