In Rajasthan, after 5 days of dust storm hitting the state, situation is not yet normal in Bharatpur, Dholpur and Alwar districts. Although respective administrations are working on a war footing to normalize the situation, several villages of these districts remain without electricity and water.
Electricity infrastructure had totally been collapsed in Bharatpur and Alwar districts due to dust storm. It has badly affected electricity and water supply. In Bharatpur, 80 percent villages of Deeg and Kumher block and 90 percent of Bharatpur block are still under dark cover.
ADM O.P.Jain told AIR that the situation is going to better speedly, but it will take a week to be normalized. Electricity and water supply has not been restored in more than one hundred 10 villages of Alwar district, while 180 villages of the Dholpur district still waiting for the basic amenities. Many of the district collectors put their officials on alert taking in to consideration the latest advisory issued by Met Dept.
