Twinkle Khanna’s post about daughter Nitara is what our Sundays, and lives, are missing

Sundays are probably the only time one gets for reflection. The rest of the six days fly away in worrying about work, competition, children and assorted other responsibilities. So, today, take a leaf out from Twinkle Khanna – or more specifically, her daughter Nitara’s – book, and go have an adventure. The actor shared a photo of the child as she is surrounded by bubbles, which capture the seven colours of the rainbow.

She wrote with the photo, “To live like a child in iridescent wonder-Have we grown up or have we lost out?” Now, many of us grown-ups will choose the latter option for obvious reasons. However, instead of a moment of reflection, why not have a day full of magic? All you need, like Nitara, is a bubble shooter and the wonder that innocence brings along.

Nitara is the 5-year-old daughter of Twinkle and Akshay Kumar; they also have a son, Aarav. Twinkle often shares moments from the life of her children on her social media handles. Earlier this week, she shared a photo of her and her daughter engrossed in reading while wearing matching pajamas.

“Matching pyjamas and a love for books #aboutlastnight,” she wrote.

Though Akshay and Twinkle rarely talk about their kids during interviews, they quite often take to social media to share adorably cute pictures of Nitara. But it’s rather interesting how each time there’s a new father-daughter or mommy-daughter moment to share, they manage to keep Nitara’s face hidden, almost in all photos.
