Jaime Lyn Day, 36, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed into the loving arms of the Lord and her grandfather on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center. Jaime was born in 1981, in Rochester, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Jody J. Day and Kathleen S. Clarke; stepdaughter of Jerry P. Clarke. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Class of 1999 and earned a Medical Assistant Certification with honors from a community college in Manassas. Jaime was employed at Winchester Family Practice. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, was a happy, carefree person that loved frogs, being at the family farm, and adored her dog, Layla..a kind soul that loved all animals. Jaime was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving with her parents and stepfather are grandparents, Dolores Gordon of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and Gerald and Margaret Clarke of Cross Junction, Virginia, and Joan Lyn Conci, Rochester, Pennsylvania; brothers, Chad Joseph Day (Tara) of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; Brian Daniel Clarke (Kathleen) of Berryville, Virginia; Kristofer George Clarke of Mineral, Virginia; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jaime was preceded in death by her grandfather, George B. Gordon, Sr. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018 at OMPS FUNERAL HOME, Amherst Chapel, with an "open mic" celebration of life service to follow at 5 p.m. with Jaime's aunt, Patricia Avery, presiding over the service.
