Warren Buffett made one thing clear during a Saturday annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. his firm isn't influenced by political views on guns. "I do not believe in imposing my political opinions on the activities of our businesses," Buffett explained during a gathering of thousands of fans and shareholders of the investing conglomerate and its leader, who has become a touchstone inside and outside of Wall Street. Buffett was responding to a question about whether it made sense for the company to continue to gun-related companies, particularly in the wake of the Parkland, Fla. school shooting that claimed 17 lives, and has led to a sweeping response by a number of companies to limit their exposures to companies related to weapons, including the former Smith & Wesson company American Outdoor Brands Corp. "If you get into which of our companies are pure and which ones aren't pure, I think it will be very difficult," Buffett said, reiterating comments he has previously made in the wake of the high school shooting.
