Clarify whether ‘Vikas Yatra’ a Govt or BJP campaign: Baghel

Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President Bhupesh Baghel had charged the ruling BJP Government in the State of misusing the Government machinery for the party’s publicity.

Baghel said that Congress party is going to lodge a complaint before Election Commission of India regarding the matter.

In a statement he said it needs to be clarified whether the Vikas Yatra is a campaign of Government or was it of the BJP.

If it is a Government’s campaign, then all the leaders of BJP should be kept away from it, he demanded.

“If the ‘Yatra’ is a campaign of party then it must be ensured that no expenditure is made from the Government treasury”, he said.

He also said that the Government is not serious about people’s progress.
