BMC’s appeal: Drink boiled water for next seven days


 Mumbai : The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has appealed Mumbaikars to drink boiled water for the next 7 days starting from Monday. There is a possibility of supply of turbid water in the city in the coming days. As a result, the BMC has issued the notice.

After completion of Ghatkopar reservoir tank, the reservoir will start from May 7. Therefore, in the initial few days, Mumbai will be supplying turbid water. An official of the BMC said, “The wards L (Kurla) and N (Ghatkopar) have to especially take more care in their areas since these are most likely to be affected more.”

Similarly, the ward officials of Kurla and Ghatkopar areas have appealed to the people to drink water and boil for the next week after May 7.
