MUMBAI: More than 350 students from across Mumbai, Thane and Konkan region congregated at MahaKaushalya 2018 competition to participate the first-of-its-kind state-level skill competition that kickstarted on Friday organised by Govt of Maharashtra – Maharashtra State Skill Development Society in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Mumbai.
CII in partnership with MSSDS and DVET will assist the youths in Maharashtra to get an opportunity to demonstrate and get recognised for their skills at zonal (cluster), state, and regional level.
National Skill Development Corporation has taken up the Initiative in representing India at The World Skill Competition Scheduled in 2019 in Kazan, Russia for which Maharashtra State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) has been the nodal agency and Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) has been the Execution Body and Confederation of Indian Industry has been the Implementation partner in Maharashtra.
