UK minister Mark Field to visit India on May 7

UK and the Pacific Mark Field will be on a two-day visit to starting May 7 during which he will hold high-level talks on technology, cyber and with his Indian counterpart, the said today.

Field is visiting to follow up on the ambitious set of deliverables that were agreed to last month during Narendra Modi's visit to the UK, the commission said in a statement.

I'm looking forward to visiting once more to discuss a range of bilateral issues and build on the tremendous success of the recent visit to the UK by Modi," Field was quoted saying in the statement.

He said the UK is committed to working with India to unlock the full potential of the trade and investment relationship.

Field will meet for Extrenal Affairs MJ Akbar and on May 7, it said.

On the same day, he will also visit ASHA, a organisation working for women empowerment and environment.

On May 8, Field will travel to to attend a roundtable on Corporate Green Leadership' and also visit T-Hub, India's largest incubator.

He will also interact with rural girl students at Voice Camp, an event organised by organisation Voice4Girls.
