The Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will review performance of all state government departments in a phased manner from May 8, an official said.
In a letter to all the ministers, Patnaik has told them that he would undertake a review of the plans and programmes being implemented by different departments. Secretaries of each department will also remain present in the meeting, he said yesterday.
The chief minister has also said through the letter to the ministers that on the completion of the fourth term of his government, the success and achievement of all departments will be discussed at the meeting of the council of ministers and made known to the people of the state.
The BJD government in Odisha is set to complete fourth year of its fourth term on May 21.
