Odisha 10th result on May 7, says state BSE president

Odisha’s Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will declare the results of Class 10 board examinations on May 7 morning, Board President Jahanara Begum said on Friday. Speaking at a press meet, Begum said that the result will be available on board’s official website after 12pm.

Earlier in the day, Odisha’s Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president had dismissed rumours that the Class 10 exam results will be declared on May 5.

This year, 590,363 students had written the examination that was held between February 23 to March 8.

Officials had last month said that the Class 12 science stream results will be announced in the third week of May and those for humanities and commerce in the last week. There were 365,826 students who took the Class 12 exams from March 5 to March 29.

Last year, the pass percentage for Class 10 was 85.28 and in Class 12 74.24% students cleared the exams.
