Govt determined for skill development among youths: Rupani

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani on Friday asserted that state government is determined to give needed impetus to skill development programmes, employment and self-employment opportunities for the youths.
Rupani released ‘The Special Edition of Gujarat Rojgar Samachar Career Guide – 2018’ (The Special Edition of Gujarat Employment News Career Guide – 2018.’ The Chief Minister said under the Chief Minister Apprentice Yojna (CMAY), the youths of the state would be given skill based training to generate skilled human force as per the demand of the market.

Those who spoke on the occasion included Secretary (Information and Broadcast Department) Ashwini Kumar and Ashok Kalaria, Director of Information Department. Kalaria said that a copy of this special career guide would be available at a cost of Rs. 20/- at district information offices across the state.

The occasion was also graced by Arvind Patel, additional information director, and Pupak Trivedi, joint information director.
