Twitter password warning: What to do now if you have a Twitter account

Twitter is asking all users to change their passwords after it discovered a glitch in its password system that left users exposed without encryption on an internal system.

While Twitter has said nobody accessed the password log, it asked all its users to consider changing their passwords.

The glitch meant that user passwords, which are normally encrypted so they cannot be read by anyone, were accidentally stored in normal text format.

Twitter has said that there is no indication of a "breach", but for those who are worried or the privacy conscious it might be a good time to switch up your Twitter password. Twitter has also advised users to make their passwords even more secure by enabling two-factor...
