Freight rates for nine-tonne pay
load section to Coimbatore and Kochi rose by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today on less position of trucks amid better cargo movements.
Transporters said shortage of trucks in the markets especially for Coimbatore and Kochi caused up tick in freight rates of these two centers.
Delhi to Coimbatore and Kochi freight rates moved up by
Rs 1,000 each to Rs 71,000 and Rs 75,000.
Elsewhere, rest all other centres freight rates enquired around overnight levels on little support.
