According to a survey by Gold Eagle of Chicago, Illinois—the number two spot goes to the Tesla Model S, followed by Jeep Wrangler, Corvette, and Camaro.
The automotive parts company surveyed 2,000 car owners from around the country and discovered that most folks who identified themselves as car experts chose a Mustang as their dream machine. On the flip side, most people who identified themselves as not knowledgeable about cars chose a Tesla.
Millennials also gravitated towards the Model S, while Gen Xers opted for a Camaro, and Baby Boomers want a Corvette—who wouldn’t?
Women surveyed prefer the Wrangler, Mustang, and Camaro by a wide margin, while men prefer the Model S and Corvette.
Top dream cars by region are almost evenly split with Tesla fans dwelling on the West coast and in the Southwest.
Mustang fans tend to live in the Midwest and Southeast of the U.S. Surprisingly, Mountain states like Colorado don’t care for any of the above and instead prefer a Range Rover as their dream car of choice. Not a bad choice at all if you ask us.
