Two weeks before the royal wedding, Meghan Markle's brother has penned a handwritten letter urging her fiance Prince Harry to call off the wedding.

In the letter, which was shared by In Touch magazine, Thomas Markle Jr tells Harry that it's "not too late" to drop his sister.

"As more time passes to your royal wedding, it became very clear that this is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history," Tom warns.

In a handwritten letter, Meghan's brother has urged Harry to dump her before it's too late: "This is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history."

"Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you." He adds that she is a "jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage."

Earlier this year, Markle's brother claimed that their father was "extremely hurt" by Prince Harry's statement that the royals are the "family she never had".

Thomas Markle Jr told The Daily Mail that his younger sister "obviously" had a family, who "smothered her with love" and whom she celebrated every holiday with.

"She's had a really good family," he said.

"We were as close as we could be, as tight as we could be, that's what we were.

"She was very privileged. She got everything she ever wanted. We did the best that we could in terms of getting together for holidays and whatnot."

Markle's fiance Prince Harry had told the BBC that his wife-to-be had enjoyed a "fantastic" Christmas at Sandringham and that the Royal Family "loved having her there".

"I think we've got one of the biggest families that I know of, and every family is complex as well," he said.

"She's done an absolutely amazing job. She's getting in there and it's the family I suppose that she's never had."

Of Prince Harry's comments inferring Markle doesn't have a family of her own, her brother said, "My father... dedicated the majority of all his time and everything to her. He made sure she had what she needed to be successful and get to where she's at today."

His comments followed those made by Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle, who said the actress grew up surrounded by a huge family.

Samantha Markle wrote on Twitter: "Actually she has a large family who were always there with her and for her.

"Our household was very normal and when dad and Doria divorced, we all made it so it was like she had two houses. 'No one was estranged, she was just too busy."
