Manchester United can secure second place in the Premier League with a win at the Amex.
Jose Mourinho’s side are five points ahead of third-placed Liverpool and have already ensured Champions League football for next season.
And with the FA Cup final now on the horizon, Mourinho has made some changes for this clash on the south coast.
Alexis Sanchez has not travelled with the squad.
Mourinho explained Eric Bailly’s drop down to the bench is because Ivory Coast are not in the World Cup.
“I try to be a good team manager and that means being a little bit cold and selfish at times, but I am not as bad as all that and I still have space for a little bit of feeling,” he said.
"If I have to make an emotional choice then Eric is the one I am not going to help. The other four [Smalling, Lindelof, Jones and Rojo] are all fighting for a place.”
The changes could help Brighton, who themselves are flirting with a very late relegation scrap towards the bottom of the table.
A win for them - or even a point - could well be enough to avoid Stoke or Southampton catching them.
