JUPITER — Mitch Nay and Daniel Sweet had RBI doubles but the Daytona Tortugas lost 7-2 to the Jupiter Hammerheads on Thursday.
Daytona's Tony Santillan (3-1) gave up four runs on nine hits and struck out seven in six innings in the defeat.
Off the field, the Tortugas transferred infielder Dilson Herrera to Louisville and acquired infielder Hector Vargas from Billings.
Daytona kicks off a six-game homestand against Lakeland at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
