The Handmade Market is place to indulge mum ahead of Mother's Day
Champagne, a beautiful posy and rows and rows of individual gift ideas - the Handmade Market is on this weekend and making it as easy as possible to indulge mum.
The markets are on from 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday at Exhibition Park in Canberra, handily a week before Mother's Day.
There will be a pop-up champagne bar, a chance to take a photograph of mum in front of a flower wall and a flower shop.
Handmade Canberra’s founder and owner Julie Nichols joked that the unique offerings at the markets made "sure you’re the favourite child this Mother’s Day”. There will be 260 stalls this weekend.
Handmade Canberra over the weekend will also be supporting the St Vincent De Paul’s Blanket Drive.
St Vincent De Paul will have their Night Parol Van at the market collecting warm items
of clothing, blankets, and sleeping bags to give to those who don’t have the the benefits of a warm place to stay this winter.
