Mt. Pleasant Methodist Service Set

Mt. Pleasant First United Methodist Church will worship on Sunday, with a traditional style at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary and then a more contemporary service at 11 o’clock in the fellowship hall. Pastor Diane Gordon will preach a sermon she calls “What You Are....is God’s Gift.” Adult classes are offered at 10 a.m. with Children’s Sunday School beginning in the 11 a.m. service. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be offered to all who attend either worship service.

Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Service Set

Worship at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Andrew Miller’s Reflection, “Bless, Blessor, and Blessee” is based on Luke 24:44-53. When have you been a blessing to someone? When has someone blessed you? When have you offered a blessing to God? When has God blessed you? Who can bless? Where can blessings take place? During worship, we will also celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Classics at the Presby is at 4 o’clock.

Living Hope Lutheran Church free clothing stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Tuesday, May 22., at the Old Chemical Bank drive-in (2370 W. Ludington Dr. in Farwell.

John Capen And Friends Gospel Jamboree

The First Church of the Nazarene, located at 1980 S. Lincoln Rd. in Mt. Pleasant, will hold its monthly jamboree at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. John Capen and friends will be playing some of the old hymns.

Christian Women’s Connection Luncheon

Mt. Pleasant Area Christian Women’s Connection will hold a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, at Camille’s on the River (506 W. Broadway in Mt. Pleasant). No membership necessary. The special feature is the ‘Second Hand Style Show.’ Music by Johnathon Harper from Clare. Inspirational speaker Pat Ellerholz talks about longing for a real Friend. Rosebush UMC Announcements

The Rosebush United Methodist Church worships at 10 a.m. on Sundays, Kids’ church and nursery also available. There’s a time for fellowship and refreshments after service, located at 3805 School Rd. in Rosebush. The Tough Questions Series will resume in June at 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Also, the Monday night services are at 6 p.m. and at 9 a.m. is the Life Groupe Series. The REAP free food panty is held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays, at the St. Henry Church – corner of Mission & Vernon Rd. A valid Michigan I.D. is required.

Alma Baptist Announcement

Country gospel jamboree gatherings will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 21, at the Alma First Baptist Church (534 N. St. in Alma). This Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Jim Bear will be preaching. Do we know what is means to love one another? God’s full extent of His love was shown us on the Cross of Calvary. If there were ever a doubt about the love of God in Christ, come and listen.

Christian Music Artists Perform

Christian Music Artists “The Chosen Ones” will be performing at the Seville Community Church of God at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, and during worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 3. The church is located at 8360 West Monroe Rd. near Alma.
