Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Calcutta High Court has refused to interfere in the West Bengal Panchayat election schedule.

The High Court has said that State election commission ought to have conducted itself in a transparent and neutral manner and it floundered in upholding constitutional obligations.

The court further said that the State election commission reduced the number of phases for panchayat polls in the state from 3 phases to one without providing necessary clarification which raises suspision.
