Watch an Audi RS3 Run a Nine-Second Quarter Mile

Audi tuner APR has been pushing the Audi 2.5L five-cylinder to higher and higher power levels. Now they’ve gotten an RS3 to break into the nine-second window in the quarter mile.

It wasn’t just a single go for broke pass, either. The customer car ran eight nine-second passes at the Montgomery Motorsport Park in Montgomery, AL. The quickest was 9.83 seconds at 144.39 mph.

The car was a 2018 Audi RS3 with an APR ECU and TCU upgrades running E85 gas. It had a TTE 625 upgraded turbo, an upgraded intake and exhaust, and a new intercooler. Using 18-inch 245-width Hoosier Drag Radials and with the extra seats removed, the 600 WHP car hit the fast times.
