A builder allegedly committed

suicide after a police team reached his residence in Vasant Vihar to arrest him, police said today.

However, the family members of Vinod Dhingra, 69, alleged that he was killed.

According to the police, the incident took place on the night of April 30.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team had reached his house to arrest him, but he had jumped from the servant quarter on the second floor, they said.

The police have found a suicide note from him, they said.
