The Violet line connects Kashmere Gate in the Old Delhi to Faridabad in NCR.
Commuters had a harrowing time on Friday. Affected commuters took to Twitter to express their anger regarding the delayed service.

Well, this is not the first time, technical glitches have been reported from the Delhi Metro. Last month, Pink Line of the Delhi Metro was affected for more than two hours after a section of the overhead electrification (OHE) tripped on the down line due to a dust storm.
