Students of
Surendranath Centenary School visited a Bariatu-based old age home to spend time with people from the retired community. The students had earlier organised a sale of the products made for their SUPW class and used the money to gift a geyser and a toaster to the residents of the home. Principal of the school,
Samita Sinha, said that the young minds need to be sensitised about the older generation and youngters must be encouraged to spend more time with the older generation. The students spent time talking and sharing stories with the residents of the home and had a gala time during their visit.
