Cape Town - The Volkswagen Polo Vivo continues to be the best-selling passenger car in South Africa; during April 2018, the popular hatchback accumulated a total sales figure of 2143 units.
It was followed by its big brother, the Polo, which managed 1907 units in second place.
Toyota & Hyundai
In third place, Hyundai's Grand i10 sold 1013 units. Along with the two Polo’s, makes the Grand i10 only the third vehicle to surpass the 1000-mark in April 2018.
The Toyota Fortuner slips into fourth position with 879 units, ahead of the Kia Picanto with 798 units.
The Toyota Corolla/Auris/Quest, in sixth place, sold 771 units. In seventh is the Toyota Etios (729 units) and the Renault Kwid is eighth with 693 units.
In ninth place the Hyundai Creta managed to sell 611.
The BMW 3 Series rounded up a sales figure of 506 to make it the top-selling premium sedan for the month.
