Union Tourism Secretary Rashmi Verma on Wednesday informed that Centre was trying to improve air, train and road connectivity to Bodhgaya and Gaya in Bihar from res of the country to attract more tourists.
The central government official made the statement during a high-level meeting to review the development of tourism sector in the state with senior officials at Gaya.
Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee (BTMC) member Arvind Kumar Singh said it was also discussed to increase the connectivity of Gaya with other airports such as Kolkata and southern states.
