Pune, May, 2018: Like every year, this year too, awards to various education brands were given out at 8th Indian Education Congress, New Delhi, for numerous categories. Times &Trends Academy (TTA) won ‘Innovation in Skills Education’ for exceptional performance in the education industry at this Summit, which is also known as the mother summit of all the educational institutes in the Nation. Times Trends Academy, an award-winning premier academy offering vocational education to students, is founded by Mr. Amit Agrawal – an edupreneur & an author. The award was received by Mr. Amit Agrawal & Mr. Harshad Sangle – Director of Academics at Times & Trends Academy.

While receiving the award, Mr. Amit Agrawal said, “With digital media being the buzzword that has caught the attention of leaders across all the industries, it has become imperative for even the education industry to embrace digital platforms as well. With the intent to make learning more accessible, Times & Trends Academy has already introduced e-learning to students through interactive mobile application. We are further evaluating on how TTA flagship can integrate technology to enhance experiential learning”.

He continued, “There are still gaps between the industry requirements; student skill sets. TTA is trying to bridge this gap by offering courses that are not just industry-relevant but also the ones that have personality development as a crucial part of their curriculum. Studies conducted by major universities and business organizations indicate that less than 10% of job failures are due the lack of technical aspects of the job. And this means that more than 90 % of such failures are due to lack of understanding of one`s self, lack of understanding of others and the lack of motivation (in short lack of life skills and people skills). Soft skills and confidence are very important attributes in being successful. Times & Trends Academy remains committed to empowering the youth and professionals by offering affordable education.”

The 8th Indian Education Congress summit was attended by various educational stakeholders, corporate, media agencies, ministers, investors, etc. There were various interesting topics that did rounds at the conference like new methods to integrate technology into the education industry, trends that have emerged in the education industry recently, and how to make quality education accessible to masses, and how virtual classrooms can make the necessary impact.

Times and Trends Academy is one of the premier vocational training academies that offer courses like Fashion Designing, Fashion Styling, Fashion Boutique Management, Interior Designing, Interior Business Management, Event Management, Animation, Graphic Designing, Jewellery Designing, and Finance & Accounts. TTA focuses on providing sound technical knowledge to the students along with building soft skills, and this allows 360-degree development in the student that lets them achieve success in their careers. With eight centers all over India, around 12,000-plus students have passed from TTA in the last 13 years.
