Fire breaks out in mill compound in central Mumbai; no injuries reported

A small fire gutted a gala in Mathuradas Mill Compound, Lower Parel, on Thursday morning. No one was injured in the incident.

Two fire tenders were sent to the spot on Tulsi Pipe Road. The fire started around 11.05 am and was doused by 11.28 am, said a fire official, who did not wish to be identified.

The cause of the blaze has been identified as short circuit.
