Maha CM launches mobile weather information app for farmers

today launched 'MahaVedh', a mobile application which provides weather-related information to farmers.

launched the app as he chaired a meeting on for Integrated Development of Agriculture (PPP-IAD) with various companies, financial and technological institutions and producers.

Representatives of EMAAR, a UAE-based company which intends to invest in the sector in the state, also participated, the said.

According to an release, informed that 952 milk collection centres have been opened in 1,378 villages of and divisions, and 2.10 lakh litres of milk is collected daily.

This has benefited 28,000 farmers, the said.
