Simultaneously, a rock climbing masters’ tournament, to last for two days, will also be held.
There will be two categories in the rock climbing masters tournament, namely the professional group and the open group. A fundraising event will be held after the tournament, and the fund will be dedicated to the training of outstanding young athletes in a local rock climbing school, according to the organizers.
In addition to the rock climbing tournament, there will be some other important events during the conference, including a sports tourism carnival and the China-ASEAN Mountain Marathon. The organizers hope that the event will be the engine for the development of the local economy and aid poverty alleviation efforts in the region.
Sponsored by the Chinese Mountaineering Association and Guangxi Sports Bureau, the event will once again be held in Mashan county, a place with beautiful landscapes and mountain trails.
