‘Welcome to Medicare’ being held at Perry Senior Center

Medicare eligible residents in Lake County are encouraged to attend a free “Welcome to Medicare” event sponsored by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, a division of the Ohio Department of Insurance.

The event will take place 6:30 p.m., May 8 at Perry Senior Center, 2800 Perry Park Road. It will be hosted by the Lake County Council on Aging, and those interested should call 440-259-3772 to register.

Local and state experts from OSHIIP will cover topics such as Medicare Part A and B benefits, Part D prescription drug benefits, Medicare Advantage plans, financial assistance and important deadlines.

Additionally, OSHIIP will also host “Welcome to Medicare” public webinars viewable via the Department of Insurance website, https://bit.ly/2mQzflQ.
