Kerala SSLC exam results out, 97.84% pass

Ernakulam revenue district had the highest pass percentage — 99.12, while Wayanad had the least — 93.87%.

The results of this year's Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination were announced here on Thursday.

Minister for Education C. Ravindranath, at a press conference, said the pass percentage had increased to 97.84. Last year, it was 95.98%.

Of the 4,41,103 students who had appeared for the examination, 4,31,162 qualified for higher education. As many as 34,313 students had secured A+ grade in all subjects, a significant increase from 20,967 students last year.

The Minister said no moderation had been given, and the increase in the pass percentage reflected the gains from the government's Public Education Rejuvenation Mission.

In the Gulf region, 538 of the 544 students who had sat for the examination passed (98.9%), while in the Lakshadweep region, 655 of the 789 students who took the examination passed.
