• Clippers: Yu Chang hit a walkoff home run, and Shane Bieber gave up one run on two hits in six innings as host Triple-A Columbus (13-12) topped Charlotte, 4-2. Left fielder Brandon Barnes had three doubles and a run scored for the Clippers.

• RubberDucks: First baseman Bobby Bradley hit two home runs, and visiting Double-A Akron (15-11) smashed Bowie, 15-0. Bradley finished 3-for-5 with three runs and five RBI. All but one RubberDucks batter got at least one hit. Third baseman Joe Sever and center fielder Andrew Calica also had three hits apiece. Akron had 18 as a team, including seven for extra bases. Jake Paulson (1-0), David Speer and Mitch Brown combined on an 11-hit shutout.

• Hillcats: Host Winston-Salem topped advanced Single-A Lynchburg (12-14), 5-3. Justin Garza (2-1) yielded four runs (three earned) on six hits. He struck out four. Catcher Li-Jen Chu was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for the Hillcats. Left fielder Mitch Longo (Mayfield) was 2-for-5 with a run scored. He’s batting .299 and his hitting streak is up to 16 games.

• Captains: Wisconsin scored five runs in the top of the 11th to smash single-A Lake County (12-13), 11-7. The half inning included a Captains error, a three-run triple and two wild pitches.
