Sophomore>>Pitcher/Shortstop

On the diamond: Went 2-0 with 15 strikeouts and a 1.00 ERA against Chardon and Madison, yielding seven hits; went 5-for-13 with two doubles, a triple and a .467 on-base percentage.

Off the diamond: Enjoys juggling, talking in a British accent, reading and listening to music. Favorite subjects are history and astronomy. Favorite show is “The 100.”

Chagrin Falls>>Baseball

Senior>>Pitcher/Outfield

On the diamond: Allowed one run in 12 innings to go 1-0 during a 4-1 week for the Tigers. Struck out nine and walked one. Recorded four hits and six RBI at the plate. Became Chagrin Falls’ all-time wins leader at 21 with his win over Perry.

Off the diamond: Will attend Purdue. Favorite subject is math. Favorite movies are the “Star Wars” triologies and “Superbad.” Favorite music includes Pink Floyd and Kanye West. Is an avid “Madden” player and is a big fans of the Browns. Considers himself an above-average singer, “although most of my friends would disagree.” Also is a karaoke champion.

Senior>>Sprints

On the track: At the Dick Beeler Booster Invitational, won 100 and 200 and was on the winning 4x100 and second-place 4x200 as the Pirates took second as a team.

Off the track: “JP” will study accounting at John Carroll. Favorite subject is math. Hobbies include playing football and running. Favorite show is “Impractical Jokers.”

Junior>>First base/catcher

On the diamond: Went 12-for-16 in four games with two doubles, nine RBI, four steals and four walks and a .900 on-base percentage; also threw out two runners trying to steal.

Off the diamond: Hobbies include horseback riding. Is a nine-year member of the Rhythm Riders 4-H Club in Ashtabula County. Favorite softball team is the Florida Gators. Wants to pursue nursing and work in a neonatal unit in a hospital.

On the track: At the Dick Beeler Booster Invitational, won 800 and 1,600 and anchored the winning 4x400 as the Cougars won the team title.

Off the track: “C” is a Concord Township resident.

On the diamond: Went 6-for-14 with seven runs, seven RBI, two home runs and a steal; also went 1-2 on the mound, striking out 14 in 15 1/3 innings and allowing four earned runs.

Off the diamond: Nicknames include “Country,” “Peanut,” “kprez” and “KP.” Has been in 4-H for five years, raising pigs, including for showing at the fair in the past. Plans to attend college in Florida or “somewhere down south.” Hopes to play softball in college and study finance or business management. Also considering nursing or real estate. Is taking college classes through CCP and plans to earn an associate’s degree by time she graduates high school. Favorite color is blue. Loves watching baseball and college softball.

Junior>>Sprints/jumps

On the track: Against Hathaway Brown and Magnificat, won long jump and 100 and was on the winning 4x200 and 4x100.

Off the track: “Anni” is a Chardon resident. Favorite subject is Spanish. Favorite food is buffalo chicken. Favorite movie is “Coach Carter.” Favorite show is “Criminal Minds.” Favorite team is the Cavaliers.

Senior>>Throws

On the track: Against Shaker Heights, won shot put and was second in discus; at the Mentor Cardinal Relays, was on the winning shot put and discus relays and recorded the best individual throw in shot put.

Off the track: “Skip” can leg press 900 pounds. Enjoys listening to Post Malone and Russ. Favorite subject is honors precalculus. Will attend Cuyahoga Community College on an academic and athletic scholarship for track and field and study biomedical engineering.
