Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Former President Pranab Mukherjee today lauded Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and said everyone who lives in the National Capital is proud of the Delhi metro. Addressing a function in New Delhi, Mr Mukherjee said, DMRC was a unique experiment where there were many stakeholders.

He said now many cities have accepted this as a model for running metro institutions. Saying that Delhi Metro provides a great service, he pointed out that handling urban transport is not an easy task. He added that managing urbanisation in this country is a big challenge. Mr Mukherjee said the secret of successful corporate management is teamwork and this team spirit is at the root of the success of DMRC.
