Officer's murder: Himachal to submit status report in apex court

A day after a woman was shot dead during an anti-encroachment drive in town, Chief Minister on Wednesday said a status report will be submitted in the apex court on Thursday.

The accused, Vijay Singh, is still on the run. Police say they have formed teams to arrest him.

"It's a sad incident. We will submit a status report in the (Supreme Court) tomorrow," Thakur told reporters.
