'Unsafe condition': FAA orders more engine inspections after fatal Southwest flight
Wednesday, 2 May 2018 () The Federal Aviation Administration said it's issuing a new airworthiness directive, or AD, in response to the engine failure that occurred on the fatal Southwest Flight 1380 two weeks ago. "We are issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products," the FAA said in a new AD scheduled to be released Wednesday.
